Hello,
I have a website that I want to fully translate into another language (I do not want a multilingual website). This is a one-time operation, and I will no longer need the plugin once the translation is completed.
Why are your fees monthly?
Which license should I choose for a single full-site translation?
Since I don’t need the plugin after the translation is finished, what is the best option for this use case?
Hello,
Linguise is designed primarily as a real-time translation service, not as a one-time translation tool that generates static, physical translated pages. Our translation is served from cloud remote, not physically. Therefore, no negative impact on your original website should be made.
Because of that, our pricing is based on a monthly or yearly subscription, which includes hosting the translation cache, real-time synchronization with your site, SEO translation management, and ongoing support.
Why the fees are monthly/yearly, that's because our system continuously:
- Hosts and serves the translations through our cloud infrastructure,
- Keeps them synchronized and realtime updated translation from your original content,
- Provides SEO indexing and URL management,
- Caches and optimizes all translated content.
This entire infrastructure is maintained on our servers, and the subscription is required to keep the translation service active.
We also have explain it on our FAQ: Why do I need an active subscription to translate?
If your intention is: Translate the entire website once, and then stop using Linguise…
-> Unfortunately, we don’t offer such a service. Once Linguise is disabled (by stopping the subscription or removing the plugin), the translations will no longer be available or served on your website.
I hope it clarifies.
If you're interested, why don't you try Linguise first? We offer free trial for one month period that allows you to test it for free. It should be applied automatically if your website is registered for the first time.
Best regards,
Hello,
Unfortuantely, I can't reply in Russian. There are some words that being blocked.
are translation costs calculated every time a page is loaded? Or when the page content changes?
-> Linguise performs translations on demand (when pages are visited in another language). Once it gets translated, we will store in our Cloud Storage and no translation will be made again, unless you update the original content which will trigger the re-translation for those word.
